About Us

In 1999, a group of friends met once a week at Coffee in the Alley in Madison, NJ to share their art with each other.

They decided to make a compilation of their work and call it Out from the Alley because it would be the first time their work was seen together outside of the confines of the coffee shop. The group had shows and readings at local coffee houses and bookstores.

This site is dedicated to the past and present work of that group and it's members. Although Coffee in the Alley is now closed the group still keeps in touch.
